Pets: Karma and Cheyenne

Dr. Christine McMahon is originally from Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey, and ran collegiately in Cross Country and Track and Field at Milligan College in Tennessee. She transferred to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Volunteers!) to pursue pre-veterinary medicine. She earned her doctorate at Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she also met her husband, a pig veterinarian. After graduating in 2022, they moved to Lancaster, PA, with their 2 dogs, a wire-terrier/hound mix named Karma and a rough collie named Cheyenne.  

She joined our practice after working at an emergency hospital for 3 years. She also worked on a mobile veterinary truck to bring comprehensive care to pets in the comfort of their home.

Dr. Christine is excited to start at Companion Animal Hospital and has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and dentistry.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking with her dogs, biking, kayaking, and any outdoor activity involving the sunshine!
