Education: Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Mary Ellen Nixon is a 1990 graduate of Auburn University. She is also an owner and founder of our hospital and is responsible for a lot of the business aspects of the practice. Dr. Nixon enjoys the challenge of internal medicine and the bond forged with clients and patients. She enjoys horseback riding, gardening, and chasing after “Buster the ball obsessed border collie”. Dr. Nixon and Dr. Libby are raising three children in the community.
